A French trader selling to consumers must designate a CECMC-referenced consumer mediator and publish its name and contact details on the website and in its terms.[6]

- Micro-entrepreneur under the franchise en base de TVA (Code général des impôts, art. 293 B): not liable for VAT and holds no intra-community VAT number. The 2025 threshold reform was repealed; the 2026 services ceiling (37 500 €) applies.
